Ambuja
was established in 1988 with an objective
of setting up a Dye-Intermediates manufacturing
unit on a small scale. True, Ambuja started
in a small way but it never stopped it
from thinking big. Ambuja’s
core competency lye in Research &
Development (R & D), which
fructifies in development & optimization
of various products & processes, and
continual improvement in products’
quality. R & D, at Ambuja, play vital
role in curtailing costs and improving
the bottomline and thereby withstanding
the adverse conditions. Keeping in view
the constant upgradation of quality, customers’
satisfaction and increasing demand, the
aggregate installed capacity for manufacturing
Dyes Intermediates, Pigment Intermediates
and Specialty Chemicals
was rapidly increased from mere 240
MTPA in 1988 to 7,000 MTPA in 2003.
Additionaly Ambuja has installed production
capacity of 2400
MTPA for manufacturing various Dyestuffs
and Organic Pigments.
As the unprecedented growth suggests,
Ambuja has already made a significant
stride in the fields of Dye-Intermediates
and Specialty Chemicals and today, it
is a force being reckoned with in the
premium segments of global market. Since
last 5 Financial Years, ended 2002-2003,
Ambuja has been achieving average direct
exports of 70% of its total sales and
average growth of 23% in its total sales.
These figures focus on Ambuja’s
solidity in the global market. |

Progress
simply cannot justify increase in the
environmental pollution. Even before new
schemes are planned for growth, the search
for newer and better ways of combating
the pollution is began. This
is a part of Ambuja’s commitment
to ‘NATURE’.
At Ambuja, the pollution control is considered
and implemented as an integral part of
the operations. Ambuja’s Works is
well equipped with adequate resources
viz. ample land, water etc. and one of
the best infrastructures of its kind for
preventing & minimising the environmental
pollution. We, at Ambuja, resolutely believe
that “industrialization
and ecology can and should coexist”.

Following
the old fashioned credo of making customer
the centre of operations, Ambuja’s
motto is to steadily increase the corporate
value and generate a high value addition
through customer satisfaction.
For this, steps are taken by every member
of the ‘Ambuja Family’. The
effectiveness of these steps is reflected
in Ambuja’s respect for customers,
financial institutions, suppliers and
its employees; and in turn its reputation
amongst them as an ethical establishment.
At all levels, integrity is highly appreciated,
innovation is encouraged and industriousness
is aptly rewarded. Inefficiency and indiscipline
are confronted firmly. Achievements are
rewarded with more opportunities to achieve. |
|
Development
of the organisation and the individual to shoulder
larger responsibilities is an integral part of
Ambuja’s goal to delight its revered customers.
|
For Ambuja,
the environmental protection, quality assurance,
industrial safety and optimal commercial efficiency
are the most vital factors, being dealt with simultaneously
and evenly, to retain its unshakable position
in the global market. |
